A "Sense of Wonder" Series

My name is Rob Fullerton, and this website showcases my artwork.

I have recently completed a series of paintings that explore the theme of a "Sense of Wonder." These paintings depict an imaginary world filled with birds, spirits, flowers, and forests.

In this imaginary world, there is no light source or shadows; the light emanates from the solid color panes equally across the canvas.

The colors have no real world associations, they exist to create balance and harmony.

I am inspired by the Fauvists who rejected three-dimensional space and used flat areas of colour to create pictorial spaces.
